I managed to write absolutely ZERO in terms of fiction in honor of National Novel Blablahblah.
(This actually sucks. I'm way behind on Mosquito Song.)
This is mostly due to an increased Output at DHGF. I have had 4 review put up since OCT 30th, and have one in the queue for next week.
(Consider that May through August I wrote 1 review.) |

My Sideswiped review was the second thing on the Google search list when I looked up the game today.
Right after the amazon link.
Neat-o.
(I think perhaps my casual mention of a Thai ladyboy might have given us accidental hits.) |

Being a scout at camp, everybody sings the same stupid songs.
Well, almost.
While everybody seems to agree on the words to "Jingle Bells Batman Smells", most folks have varying opinions as to the true lyrics of "Comet".
What I learned was as follows: Comet/ It makes your teeth so green/ Comet/ It tastes like gasoline/ Comet/ It makes you vomit/ So get some comet/ and Vomit/ Todayyyyy
How do you kids sing it? |

Did you know that no place in Hyde Park sells a fishbowl? According to the pet store the closest place to sell such things is on Canal. I was going to go the the other pet store but, apparently, that closed in 2008.
Who knew? |

You can take 3 comic book characters to dinner: Who do you take and where do you go?
Follow up - What if you had to take 1 super-hero, 1 super-villain, 1 member of the supporting cast to dinner: Who do you take and where do you go? |

"FLY" or "EVERY MORNING"?
1. FLY All around the world statues crumble for me who knows how long I've loved you everywhere I go people stop and they see twenty-five years old my mother God rest her soul I just wanna fly put your arms around me, baby [x2] I just wanna fly put your arms around me, baby [x2] dance a little stranger, show me where you've been love can make you hostage wanna do it again there's no time to think about the starting or the end we'll find out I'm told, my mother she told me so I just wanna fly put your arms around me, baby [x2] I just wanna fly put your arms around me, baby [x2] I just want to fly- [x2] [Bridge] all around the world, statues crumble for me who knows how long I've loved you everyone I know has been so good to me twenty-five years old, my mother God rest her soul I just wanna fly Put your arms around me, baby [x2] I just wanna fly Put your arms around me, baby [x2] I just want to fly- [x2]
or
EVERY MORNING Every morning there's a halo hangin from the corner of my girlfriend's four post bed I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it for the weekend or a one-night stand Couldn't understand How to work it out Once again as predicted left my broken heart open and you ripped it out Something's got me reeling Stopped me from believing Turn me around again Said that we can do it You know I wanna do it again (Sugar Ray say) Oh........... (Every Morning) Oh................ (Every Morning when I wake up) (Shut the door baby, don't say a word) Oh....... (She always rights the wrong, she always rights, she always rights) (Shut the door baby, Shut the door baby) Every Morning there's a heartache hanging from the corner of my girlfriend's four-post bed I know it's not mine and I know she thinks she loves me but I never can believe what she said Something so deceiving When you stop believing Turn me around again Said we couldn't do it You know I wanna do it again Oh........... (Every Morning) Oh.................. (Every Morning when I wake up) (Shut the door baby, don't say a word) Oh........... (Every Morning) Oh.......... (Every Morning when I wake up) (Shut the door baby, shut the door baby) She always rights the wrong For me Baby She always rights the wrong For me Every Morning there's a halo hanging from the corner of my girlfriend's four-post bed I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it for the weekend or a one-night stand (Shut the door baby, don't say a word) Every Morning Every Morning when I wake up (Shut the door baby, shut the door baby) Every Morning Every Morning (Turn me around again) (Shut the door baby, don't say a word) Every Morning Every Morning |

| The Mosquito Song 7 |
[Sep. 17th, 2009|08:38 pm] |
Previously on the Mosquito Song:
Our intrepid narrator bought potatoes, invaded the home of an elderly couple and stole a Crown Victoria. Oh, and I guess he fought off two prospective Vampire Hunters, suffering only a minor bullet hole and some soup stains on his clothes. As he nears the PA/OH line, he has decided to call Blood-sucking freaks, a Chicago based novelty shop somehow connected to both hunters.

I wrote the piece for tomorrow's portion of our 30 days of Dreamcast feature at http://Diehardgamefan.com .
To entice you all to check it out, I started quoting the Warriors in the middle of the piece for no apparent reason.
(OK, maybe that was just to trick Michaelangelo into reading it.) |
